Hello KCRB Students and Families!
Please note the important dates we have coming up:
–KCRB is closed September 4 & 5 for Labor Day. This is one of our scheduled four weeks off per year! The last dates we are closed in 2023 are December 25 & 26.
-Make-up lessons for August will be Friday, August 25th, between 5:00-8:00pm
And speaking of Make-up Lessons – we have a new way for students to sign up!
If you’ve missed a lesson and would like to make it up, just head to our website: www.kcrockband.com and click the menu tab “Make-Up Lessons”. There, you will be able to choose which month (usually on the final Friday) you would like to come. There’s also a place to write in if you need a specific time in the evening during our make-up lesson window. Here’s the direct link: http://www.kcrockband.com/makeuplesson/
Once you’re signed up, you’ll receive a reminder text from me the week of make-up lessons and I’ll assign specific times for everyone. Let me know if you have any questions!
Did you or your student enjoy the Jam Session August 4th?
Then we’d love to have you join a rock band class for the fall! We have a band on Monday and Tuesday, from 5:30-6:30pm. Bands are coached by our KCRB teachers and are a ton a fun! Students get to experience playing music with other musicians at their level and put everything they are learning in lessons in to practice!
The fall session will run September 11 & 12 through December 18 & 19. Bands perform at the school recital and a few other times during the semester.

Student of the Month – Lincoln Voepel
Lincoln Voepel is our student of the month! His teacher, Josh Talley, chose Lincoln because he has a work ethic that is unparalleled. Josh also loves his taste in music! Great work, Lincoln! Here’s a little more about him:
